Marion CFB Awards 4-H Project Grants 

This spring, the Marion County Farm Bureau (MCFB) once again offered local 4-H members the opportunity to apply for funding through its annual “4-H Project Grant” program. Now in its fourth year, the program helps younger 4-H members purchase materials needed to begin and complete successful projects for exhibit at the Marion County Fair. 

Interest in the program remained strong, with 14 applications submitted by the May 15th deadline. Each applicant was awarded the maximum grant amount of $150, resulting in a total investment of $2,100 for 2026. Since the program began in 2023, Marion County Farm Bureau has awarded more than $5,655 in project grants to 42 local 4-H members. 

The Marion CFB congratulates all recipients for receiving funds from our 4th annual “4-H Project Grant” program.  We are thrilled to be able to support our 4-H members as they complete a successful 4-H project for this year’s Marion County Fair!
