Marion CFB “Ag Day” Breakfast on March 17th

Marion CFB “Ag Day” Breakfast on March 17th

To celebrate “National Ag Day” and the affordability of food in America, the Marion County Farm Bureau (CFB) will host their annual Ag Day Breakfast on Tuesday, March 17th at the Farm Bureau office in Salem.  A breakfast of scrambled eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, orange juice, and milk will be available for dine-in or carry-out from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. from the office in Salem.  There will again be no charge for this year’s breakfast, but donations will be accepted to support the organization’s scholarship and Agriculture in the Classroom programs.

The purpose of the breakfast is to demonstrate the value of food in America and the role that agriculture plays in providing it.  Not only is America’s food supply the world’s safest, but it’s also the most affordable.  The safe, abundant, and affordable domestic food supply produced by America’s farmers and ranchers is responsible, at least in part, for our nation’s increasing standard of living.  Compared to food, Americans work longer each year to pay for their housing, federal taxes, and medical care.

Mark your calendars now and join us as we Celebrate National Agriculture Day with a (free) breakfast on March 17th at the Marion County Farm Bureau!

To honor National Ag Day and highlight the affordability of food in America, the Marion County Farm Bureau (CFB) will host its annual Ag Day Breakfast on Tuesday, March 17th at the Farm Bureau office in Salem.

Guests can enjoy a hearty breakfast of scrambled eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, orange juice, and milk, available for dine-in or carry-out from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. While this year’s breakfast is free of charge, donations are welcome to support the Farm Bureau’s scholarship program and Agriculture in the Classroom initiatives.

The Ag Day Breakfast celebrates the important role agriculture plays in everyday life. America’s farmers and ranchers provide a safe, abundant, and affordable food supply, helping support our nation’s rising standard of living. In fact, Americans spend more of their time earning money to cover housing, federal taxes, and medical care than to pay for food.

Mark your calendars and join us for a delicious, free breakfast on March 17th as we celebrate National Agriculture Day at the Marion County Farm Bureau!
