Memorial “Gift of Blue” Awarded in Marion County

The Marion County Farm Bureau recently had the opportunity to present another one of its 2026 “Community Impact Grants” to local organizations and community groups.

Now in its fifth year, the program supports community-driven projects that help strengthen and improve our local communities. This year, the program received an outstanding response, with eleven applications requesting more than $11,000 in funding. Although the original budget was $5,000, the Marion County Farm Bureau increased its support and awarded a total of $6,925 to fund all eleven projects, with a few larger requests receiving partial funding.

Farm Bureau representatives recently visited with the local DAR Chapter to present a check and learn more about their project being supported. We appreciate the opportunity to partner with these organizations and individuals and look forward to seeing the positive impact these projects will have in our communities.

With the 2026 awards, the Marion County Farm Bureau has now provided $23,925 in Community Impact Grant funding for 36 community projects since the program began.
