20 Aug Snapshots of Marion County – Marion CFB’s Annual Amateur Photo Contest
The beauty of rural life comes back into focus with Marion County Farm Bureau’s annual member photo contest. It’s a chance for you, as a member, to capture your favorite images showcasing the rich diversity of our county’s agricultural landscape and its people. It’s a great way to show off your favorite photos, and maybe even win a prize.
The contest is for amateurs only and is open to Marion County Farm Bureau members and their families. Make sure your photos were taken in Marion County sometime from August 2025 through the contest deadline in 2026 (September 1st).
There is only one category – “Agriculture of Marion County.” If that’s not enough, maybe some cash incentives will help you get going! The 1st place winner will recieve $50 cash; 2nd place gets $25; and “People’s Choice” wins $75 (chosen through a social media/online campaign)
Winning photos will be published in the Farm Bureau’s Agriculture Advocate newspaper, posted on our Facebook page, and displayed at our Annual Meeting in November. Members also have the opportunity for their photos to be featured on the cover of the 2027 Marion County Plat Book and throughout the 2027 Member Made Calendar!
